COPPA
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act was effective
April 21, 2000.
COPPA was
designed to protect children under the age of 13 years of
age from the collection of online information and protect
their safety. Worldworx are committed to ensuring children
are safe while visiting our web site.
Collection
of Personal Information from Children under Thirteen
Worldworx Email and Community Services does not allow
children known to be under the age of thirteen (13) to
register for our services. We may momentarily capture
personally identifiable information for purposes of
determining whether a user is over the age of thirteen (13)
and thus qualifies to use our services. Where the user is
under the age of thirteen (13), such information is
automatically deleted.
Worldworx does
not ask a child under age 13 for more personal information,
